First off welcome to DraconicWolves! Here in this forum we represent both the Scaily and Furry communities individually through FanFictionn, Role-Playing, and Art. We also cater to other areas such as individual imaginative works in areas such fantasy and personal ideas. With reading these rules and posting on the board you commit yourself to acting responsibly and following the coming rules. Any violation of these rules shall result in immediate Administrative action.

1. No Spamming-Spamming includes very short posts that have almost no point, as well as a high amount of unneeded smilies in your posts. We would like you to strive to have an idea to one of your posts instead of just stating that you agree or disagree and whatnot. Posts have to make sense to a degree at least. If we later install member ranks which can be achieved by reaching a certain amount of posts then we can run into the problem of having people spam just to get more posts. If the moderators or admins see this happening it will result in immediate action.

2. No Art Theft/Plagiarism-Okay, this one is very very important. I, as a fellow writer, absolutely hate it when others steal ideas from another to use for their own benefit. Any member who is caught using extremely similar ideas that point out obvious theft will be automatically banned. That's right no warnings. These vandal actions are frowned upon not only on the internet but in the real world, so I shall have none of it here. If you're going to be using similar ideas or concepts to another writer/artist please ask for their permission.

3. No Advertising-Advertisement of other forums and websites is not allowed on this board. Unless given special permission by the Administrator (RedDragonX) first. In which case it could be applied to your banner or other material.

4. No Large Images-A simple rule because very large images can eat up computer RAM (memory) thus slowing the site down for the individual viewing it. Please adhere to the appropriate image sizes that are set by the forum. Signature setting is at 750X150 and Avatars are 180X120. Also bear in mind that no Pornographic images are allowed. The only area in which this has certain exceptions in the Mature Art section through moderator approval. Any other areas where it appears is inappropriate and will be dealt with through administrative action.

5. No Trolling/Flaming-Another critical rule that has a very thin line. Trolling includes insulting other members intentionally without having much point other then your personal entertainment. This is a concept that many internet forums deal with and many users are experienced with, for apparently skilled trolls have the ability to really cloud the line by attempting to make the post sound intelligent while still insulting certain members. Please report the post involved if you believe it to be trolling or flaming.

6. No Double Posting-Sometimes this rule is broken unintentionally for once in awhile a computer might accidentally send out two requests and cause a double post. This is an easy fix by simply using the edit button. If you see members doing it on purpose though please report.

7. No Profanity/Racism-Another very touchy rule. Most of the boards on this forum don't support mature content, while some do. Please if you are on the normal boards don't swear. Censors should be put in for these words which can be turned off on the more mature boards, but I still don't want to see "Bleep" everywhere. Racism is also not allowed anywhere. Any breaking of the profanity rule will result in a warning while racism is an automatic ban.

8. Respect the Staff-The staff was elected for their strengths and they are trusted by the Admin to do very effective jobs in managing the forum. All of them have experience with using boards and are very skilled with working with others. Please respect them in their positions, everyone from the Group Moderators to the Admins. Work well with them and they will work well with you.

9. Report Posts-Please help us run the board effectively and report any posts that might break the above rules. This will allow the moderators to take action swiftly and ensure site stability. It all starts with the users telling us how the boards are run so please help contribute.

10. Privacy Policy-Please do not give out any personal information such as phone number, postal address, zip code, last name, or anything you do not wish others to know. If you choose to ignore this request, we cannot be held responsible for the consequences. First Name, Age, Gender, Location, and Birthday are all optional upon registration. As stated above, only email address, username, and password are required. Please know privacy is very important to us; we will never divulge your email address to anyone without first asking your consent. If you get "spam" emails from a member (this can occur if you check "Yes" for show email on the registration page) please report the email address to us so we can investigate.

We expect you to handle this Forum in a responsible and mature manner. Please help us make it better by adhering to the above points and reporting any others who might be intentionally breaking them. This site is here for the users, so take responsibility and keep it clean so that we may all enjoy a healthy forum experience here at DraconicWolves.
