Yikes A story? why yes mr yelly

this story is about a group of dragons. Two female three male. All teenage years around 16 go about. They are adventurous and then in a year the world is shadowed in darkness. it's up to them as they learn to fight to save the world from darkness. interested? i hope so. i'll be starting this story this weekend. Quick thing before you read the story. the first five chapters are gonna talk about each character. they will connect but in an odd way. Alrighty on with the story please enjoy.

Chapter one - Drake

Drake got out of bed that morning and went outside his cavern. He yawned and stretched his body. "What a glorious day, to bad schools gonna ruin it. heh heh." He said as he took flight. The forests below filled the air with the smell of a fern and the rivers glimmered. It made the flight so serene that he wished he would never have to land. The weather was warm with a small breeze and not a cloud in sight, the sun as bright as the flame a dragon carries inside them. Drake landed at the school site which was pretty much a cave leading down to the underground. he arrived there at around ten in the morning and classes don't start until two in the afternoon but drake always meets with his friends before hand. He waited under a shady tree, practicing the attacks he learned in physical training class. The school consists of two classes. Physical training for flying, attacking, and defending someone else or yourself, And elemental abilities such as ice, fire, earth, electricity, water, air, poison, shadow, fear, and much more. Drake was a fire dragon who had already mastered his ability to fly and breathe fire, but he had trouble controlling his power. Once he was with his friends at a exploring trip for themselves, since he is the only fire type dragon in the group, he was the one to make a fire. he didn't know how to control his power so instead of making a fire out of the wood, he burned it to ash. He was embarrassed but he didn't show any sign of it.

Drake was practicing his tail swipe/uppercut. This was supposed to be the hardest attack a dragon can do and he wanted to learn it. In this attack, the dragon swipes the enemy off their feet. Then claws the enemy into the sky and smashes him into the ground using your wing, its not as easy as it sounds. Drake used a practice dummy from the gym since he didn't have anyone to spare with yet. After about twenty minutes of attempting to do it he still couldn't master it. He took a nap under the tree and awaited for the others to come to the school site.
